it is a dramatic conflict between the two friends fang and yang. they lived on rewards from catching bandits and at the same time they get invalved in a trap of vengeance among the four people chao; kao; hsiao and cheng in the town. they were robbers years ago and plundered a lot of jewelry but were hidden by spider with a map tattooed on the back of his wife. chiang was spiders daughter but loved by both fang and yang. chao took the skin map and after a fierce fight among them all were killed except fang.
